Sofia has spent over 15 years in senior leadership roles across human resources and learning and development. Across every organization she’s worked with, one thread has remained consistent: she’s wired to help people grow. Her work sits at the intersection of people, learning, and leadership. She has designed and delivered development experiences for everyone from front-line teams to senior executives, and she’s known for translating complex ideas into practical, human-centered learning. She has a rare ability to engage even the most skeptical rooms and leave people thinking differently.

She holds her CPHR designation, is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the ICF, and is certified in the Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI). Based in BC, she brings a grounded, practical approach, and a genuine belief that the best development happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about where they’re stuck.

Tiffany Baker, PCC, CPHR

Your Edge Coaching & Consulting

Tiffany spent 15 years in HR across private, public, not-for-profit, and academic sectors before realizing her real strength wasn’t the systems, it was the conversations. The ones that help people relate to themselves differently. That thread now runs through everything she does: coaching professionals, teaching and coaching MBA students at the University of Alberta, and designing and facilitating leadership development programs for teams and organizations. She brings what she calls a “kindly kick-ass” style: warm, direct, and honest enough to say what others won’t.

She holds her CPHR designation, is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the ICF, Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, and EQ-i 2.0 certified. She’s been named one of Edmonton’s Top 15 Coaches two years running. Outside of work, she leads women’s road and mountain biking programs and will tell you the stories we tell ourselves on the bike aren’t that different from the ones we tell ourselves everywhere else.

Why Us Together

We met years ago in a coaching program when we were both new, curious, and taking it seriously. We clicked really fast.

Not long after, one of us texted: “Let’s be friends.” And the rest, as they say, is history.

Over the years, we’ve both built leaders and teams inside organizations. We’ve designed programs, facilitated tough conversations, and coached people through hard moments. We’ve learned what changes people versus what just sounds good on a slide.

And we kept hearing the same thing: “Why isn’t this available for people like me?”

People who aren’t in a corporate leadership program, who are paying for their own growth, and who want real change, not just tips and tools.

So, we built The LIFT Collective.

It’s a place for growth minded humans to do the real work, with other people who are asking similar questions, led by two facilitators who’ve been in the mess too.
